by Hrishita BhattPrarambh 2025 was more than just a series of events, it was an experience designed to bring students together, foster teamwork, and create a balance between technology-driven interests and active physical engagement. Organized by the NSS of GEHU, the initiative aimed to encourage students to explore both indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring an integral development that blends strategic thinking with physical endurance.
The NSS volunteers worked tirelessly to make this vision a reality. Every aspect of the event, from planning to execution, was handled with dedication. Their efforts ensured a seamless and engaging experience for everyone involved, making Prarambh 2025 a platform where students could explore different aspects of recreation while also contributing to a larger purpose.
Among the many highlights was Movie Night, an event that provided a perfect opportunity for students to relax and share a cinematic experience. It created a space where friendships were strengthened, and everyone could simply enjoy the moment.
For those who enjoy strategy and quick decision-making, the BGMI Gaming Competition was a major attraction. With a well-equipped setup featuring multiple routers and extension boards, the tournament provided participants with an uninterrupted and immersive experience. This event was a testament to how technology-driven competitions can enhance critical thinking, teamwork, and the ability to perform under pressure. Players showcased remarkable skills, making it clear that gaming is not just about entertainment but also about strategy and coordination.
Balancing out the indoor competitions were thrilling outdoor events that tested both physical and mental endurance. The Tug of War was one such event where students had to rely on teamwork, strength, and coordination to succeed. The energy in the air was electric, with teams giving their all to pull their way to victory. The event highlighted the importance of collaboration, proving that success is achieved when individuals work together towards a common goal.
Another competition that required intense focus and strategic planning was the Chess Tournament, held in the Glass Room on February 17. The matches were gripping, as participants tested their intellect and patience, carefully planning their moves to outsmart their opponents. The atmosphere was one of deep concentration, and every match brought out the best in the players.
A unique and engaging event, Human Ludo, transformed students into game pieces in a life-sized version of the classic board game. Combining agility, fun, and luck, it provided an exciting and interactive experience that was enjoyed by both participants and spectators.
One of the most exciting additions to this year’s lineup was the Arm-Wrestling Competition. This event drew a large crowd as students tested their strength and endurance in intense one-on-one matches. Arm wrestling is not just about physical power; it also requires technique, strategy, and mental resilience. The matches were filled with excitement, as participants locked hands, pushing their limits while the audience cheered them on.
Beyond the excitement of competitions, Prarambh 2025 carried forward a legacy of service. Last year’s event funds were used for a pad donation drive in collaboration with Parivartan NGO. This year, the funds collected will once again be directed toward community welfare programs, reinforcing NSS’s commitment to creating a positive societal impact. Every student who participated in Prarambh 2025 was not just engaging in fun activities but also contributing to a meaningful cause.
As the event concluded, the closing ceremony was a moment of gratitude and reflection. Organizers, faculty members, and participants came together to celebrate the success of the event and acknowledge the hard work that went into making it possible. The NSS volunteers, who dedicated themselves to every detail, played an essential role in ensuring that Prarambh 2025 was a success. Their commitment to bringing students together through a blend of technology-driven and outdoor activities made the event truly special.
Prarambh 2025 was not just about games; it was about creating an inclusive environment where students could challenge themselves, discover new interests, and engage in activities that balanced both mind and body. It was a reminder that both indoor and outdoor games have their own significance, and true growth comes from embracing a mix of both.
